My Story
Greetings! My name is Mehtap, and I am a German Language teacher. I hold a degree in German Linguistic Pedagogy from Istanbul University, as well as a degree in German and Political Science from Technische Universität Braunschweig. My primary focus is helping individuals who struggle with German pronunciation and accent issues, as well as those who aim to speak fluent German.
I have worked as a teacher for nearly 30 years, gaining experience with children, adolescents, and families, particularly in prevention programs. My work has also taken me across Europe, where I have assisted families in better integrating into society. I design projects that promote coexistence and support schools and kindergartens in strengthening integration.
Language is our most important tool as educators. That's why I have taught many people who wish to learn German. It is essential for everybody to have access to the language, as it enables them to integrate better into society, make friends, find employment, and access various opportunities.
I am passionate about my work because I have witnessed how mastering a language can transform lives. I am dedicated to helping my students develop the skills they need to communicate effectively in German, and I take great pride in watching them succeed.
